Our Classes

About Our Classes

All Painting Pandas classes are curated with age-appropriate projects using a wide variety of art materials and techniques. Students learn to draw, mold, and create and all lesson plans incorporate cross-curricular connections and include an educational component including literacy, math, science, and history while incorporating fine motor skills, imagination, problem solving, social skills and spatial skills, and self-esteem and confidence.

Students are also introduced to many historic artists and world leaders they may otherwise never learn about as well as relevant art history that centers on Black, Hispanic, non-white, and female artists. Each class meets once-a-week during one of our three seven-week sessions of Fall, Winter, and Summer. Painting Pandas will have one special session over Spring Break.

Elementary school grades served are kindergarten through 1st, 2nd - 3rd, and 4th - 5th. Each group receives free age-appropriate art kits that correspond with that sessions’ themes.
